(3)

My contacts in the North Palace kept me updated as quickly as possible, and from the latest report, I can say that things are not back to the ordinary. Here’s a summary of the brewing storm up North. And it’s delayed of course, so it wasn’t a mere night’s events.

The Queen remained in her bird state for a few days after the division, and finally she returned back to her once beautiful self. It wouldn’t be for long, clearly, for she was always captivated by revenge! Apparently, an issue for my capture and death had been released. An outlaw was certainly something I never planned to be! A newcomer was in the palace, though, according to my friends. This newcomer was a skinny figure. The Queen’s right hand, apparently. He was her messenger, and he was very fast like one of the Cats of the Clouds! The Queen soon fell in love with him, and the two began a very public romance. His name was McCullalt, and he was her most trusted advisor. I have heard the name before, but never met him. Also, with the disappearance of the Princess, the Queen took up a new friend – her trusted handmaiden, KiKeck. Now, KiKeck, I remember of course, for she was a member of court much like I was. KiKeck & Princess Gabriella were close friends, but now it seemed like she’s switched sisters. KiKeck was nothing but a drunkard! But she was always an entertaining addition to the court festivals and parties. We shared a great many laughs, and I was surprised she hadn’t joined us on our escape! The best memory I had had of her was at the Royal Masquerade the previous year. She was swimming in the booze, and she ended up falling into a table, face flat. She woke up, a gray hood shielding most of her face, and began to speak in a foreign accent from the far, far East! We all thought she had been puppeted by black magic, but nope, she was stone cold drunk.

I feel like I must introduce you to the South Kingdom of Tetop now, so that you may understand why I had directed the refugee Princess there. So, without further adieu, Tetop!
